Lumpy Skin Disease

Vaccination of livestock against Lumpy Skin Disease is taking place in our various locations. Thank you County Government of Kajiado for this initiative. The health of livestock and wildlife is interlinked with the health of the communities that live with them. Lumpy Skin is a viral disease that affects cattle. It is transmitted by blood-feeding insects, such as flies, mosquitoes, or ticks. It causes fever, and nodules on the skin and can also lead to death, especially in animals that that have not previously been exposed to the virus.
